Our design for the new ADOMS Headquarters building in St. Johns Antigua has gone out to tender, with construction to commence this year. Using an innovative highly insulated prefabricated wall construction, the building will not only save on construction costs by facilitating faster completion on site, but as it is designed to high environmental standards it will save significantly on lifetime running costs - it will be LEED certified and will consume significantly less energy than a standard office building whilst generating the majority of energy required for the day to day running on site via solar canopies, and rsignificant water storage for harvested rainwater will be used for a greywater circuit for washrooms, general maintenance and landscaping meaning that less potable water is used on a daily basis, and is not wasted where it is not needed, The entire complex is designed and engineered to be natural disaster resilient, elevated above predicted storm surge, and calculated to structurally resist up to category 5 hurricanes.
